Release Information
Introducing CCS Event Management

There are two new Event types:
Local Emergency – in circumstances where the Department of Education, Skills and Employment identifies that a local emergency is impacting families and early childhood education and care services. This includes where a disaster declaration has been made (for example, the NSW floods).
Special Purpose Absences – in circumstances where the Minister makes a decision that a child is eligible for additional allowable absences as defined by the Child Care Subsidy Minister's Rules 2017. Children attending a Victorian childcare service have 45 additional allowable absences for the 2020/21 financial year.

A new Event screen will be available for users in the CCS Interfaces Module. Users with existing access to CCSS Messages will have access to CCS Events. For now, Users will need to manually query CCS for new events.

The CCS System has standardised address validations and formatting when CCS Provider and Service Addresses are updated and stored. Storypark Manage has implemented changes to accommodate this.

The system will save entitlement records when the value for any of the following newly introduced fields is different from the existing entitlement details:
Paid Absence Count
Remaining Paid Absences With No Evidence
Unpaid Absence Count

The system will display the following newly introduced fields in the Entitlements section. The system will not generate a CCS Entitlement Notification to Guardian email notification to guardians if any of these fields change.
